Basic information is recorded automatically based on what you can see. The contents of your bestiary are shared between all characters of your atman. The information in your bestiary can be enhanced through a variety of skills and spells, as described below: Dissect* (ranger) - level, hit points, and weight (non-plants) Dissect* (druid) - level, hit points, and weight (plants only) True Sight - level, hit points, and weight (ghosts only) Peek - inventory contents Probe* - elemental resists Detect Law/Chaos - alignment Detect Good/Evil - alignment Tame* - can become a tamed pet *Skill/spell must be explicitly executed. Other skills add to bestiary automatically when leeched/if you have them.
