They range from happy-go-lucky wanderers to amoral hedonists, but they are not evil or insane. They just follow whatever whim takes them and follow their heart. Chaotic neutral people are often unhappy in normal society and adventure as a way to be free to do what they want. A chaotic neutral individual doesn't always plan things through, but their nature is such that they will help friends whom they've grown to love.
