Help Index :: Classes :: legate The Legate of Kerog are an ancient order of warriors dedicated to spreading the worship of Kerog through careful study of his domain - warfare. To this end, the legate study esoteric techniques of melee dating back time immemorial. Legates are weapon specialists that develop a concentration with one weapon type, but can later expand their expertise to other weapon types as they gain experience. Because legates require a limberness and quickness beyond those of a mere warrior, they must wear lighter armors on their body, their arms, and their legs. A legate then learns how to add pivoting footwork onto their special attacks which allows them to quickly make another attack against an additional combatant (a different victim than their primary victim). Legates can also pivot and attack like this when their special blows kill an opponent. Later, these pivoted blows can be turned into staggering blows which stun their victims - extremely useful techniques when fighting more than one opponent. Having mastered a weapon type or two, legates begin learning powerful combat skills known as Kerog's blessings. Finally, for those legates that achieve the full breadth of weapon skills and blessings, a lagate's most powerful abilities are achievable. Called the Legate's jubilations, these skills allow a legate to enter a state of heightened combative awareness that becomes more powerful as the jubilations are revealed to the true believer. Legates open a weapon specialization at levels 10, 20, 30 and 40. After selecting their first specialization at 10, the legate can choose an additional specialization every 10 levels. Legates offer four specialization tracks which include most melee weapon types. Bladed - Daggers, Swords Axes - Axes Blunt - Clubs, Maces Hafted - Staves, Spears, Polearms Once a legate has learned all four weapon specializations, they can learn legate's pride - the first of Kerog's jubilations. At level 25, legates can learn an advanced weapon skill within their specialization, and then they can learn another advanced weapon skill every 10 levels as long as they meet the requirements. After learning all four advanced weapon skills the jubilation legate's honor becomes available. Legates choose one of Kerog's first blessings at level 40, then another every 10 levels. When all of Kerog's blessings are mastered, the legate may learn the jubilation legate's devotion. Legates learn an advanced blessing at level 55, and every 10 levels after. For mastering the advanced blessings, the technique legate's deliverance is able to be trained. At level 70, a legate selects one of the three principal blessings to learn. Every 10 levels thereafter, another principal blessing can be added to the legate's skills. After achieving success with all the principal blessings, the final jubilation - legate's justice - can be explored. This class can be unlocked by spending 75 essence.
